Just when I thought I was done with
fucking "celebrities" for a while, one just had to rear her ugly
head!
Britney did a few things in rapid succession: checked into
rehab (for one night), got all her hair shaved off, went out and got some 'ink'
done, then checked herself back into rehab. At first I thought she should
have stuck with the rehab thing first, then it hit me... We are all being conned!
I keep reading that what
Britney did is a "cry for help". I call BULLSHIT.
Here's my
take on this whole affair:
It's a well known fact that "Britney Spears"
isn't even a real person. What I mean is, she is a creation of the
record companies/MTV/etc. She has no real talent (as was witnessed
during the 2001 Grammy Awards where she got spanked by Nora Jones in every
category). She is nothing but "image" with no substance...and she
just turned 25, she knows that she is going stale!
Back in November
photos of Britney's nasty, hairless coochie started circulating on the
internet. (Well, when you party with Paris Hilton, I suppose it's bound
to happen.) Of course this made the tabloids (as well as
the folder on my computer reserved for porn), and we were inflicted with Britney
jokes from Leno and Letterman for months afterward.
Then Anna Nicole
Smith died and Britney no longer was page one material. She had to act
fast to reclaim the "headlines". What better way than to shave your
head. I suppose it was either that or accidentally "misplace" that
videotape of her blowing Ron Jeremy.
This whole "cry for help" thing is
completely fabricated. She knows that she doesn't have the talent to
re-invent herself like Maddona did. Her only hope is to stay at the
top of the trash headlines.
Congrats Britney, the public is buying your
brand of bullshit this month...
